Wise Mind Nutrition has finally arrived!
The world was in quarantine, and although I was not depressed about it, I was concerned about the welfare of my community. I started conducting Zoom and FaceTime sessions with people all over the world and doing what I can to be helpful. I designed Wise Mind Nutrition for people with disordered eating related to depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and body image disturbance. To share my latest work with my newsletter followers, I recorded a presentation that discusses trauma, nutrition for mental health, food addiction, treatment, recovery, and more.
When it comes to what we eat, most people may think about their outward appearance. I’ve put forth a lot of effort to change the narrative. Many people are interested in the topic of sugar addiction and I have so much to say about it. The Wise Mind Nutrition program is flexible for individuals with classic forms of disordered eating including those with an addiction-like relationship to food. It is for anyone looking to strengthen communication between their gut and brain, at the intersection of nutrition and mental health. Many tend to separate the mind from the rest of the body.
